Later declining from their mid-90's fleeting surge of popularity, Green Day retreated to the studio to put together punk's 1st rock opera. Though the popular punk band was nervous about their fanclub's attitude to Dearly Beloved, it turned out to be an American punk rock classic climbing several charts and gaining a Grammy award for Best Rock Album of two thousand and four.
